Marta has been selected as a young artist for Tapestry New Opera's New Opera 101 Workshop. She will perform a bravura aria from a Tapestry commissioned work in the Tapestry Songbook concert, January 28th 2012.

In June 2012, the Luminato Festival, Toronto's renowned annual multi-disciplinary celebration, will present the premiere of a new Canadian opera: The Legend of Laura Secord (Errol Gay, composer, Michael Albano, librettist). Marta has been chosen to debut one of the principal roles in this exciting new piece, commissioned by the Canadian Children's Opera Company.
